Lot Information
Lot 1
Scottish Procurement will soon be tendering for the re-let of the Office Equipment & Services Framework. Work has already commenced in developing the procurement strategy including canvassing stakeholder views and this PIN seeks to formally commence market consultation. In order to develop the strategy, Scottish Procurement are cognisant of the Covid-19 situation and the difficulties suppliers are experiencing as many offices remain closed and workers continue to work remotely. We encourage interested suppliers to provide their views on how they think Covid-19 will change the future printing landscape and competitiveness. In particular, we invite comments on the following areas:- 1. Pricing - The suitability of the current fixed device and service lease click commercial model. Suppliers may wish to comment on the potential impact of Covid-19 and EU Exit or any other risk factor on future pricing/commercial arrangements applied to the framework. 2. Scope - The current framework scope can be found at https://www.gov.scot/publications/office-equipment-framework/. Suppliers are invited to comment on any additional or added value services which could be provided under the framework and how these would be managed and priced. 3. Capacity and timescales - Suppliers are invited to comment on factors or risks such as Covid-19 and EU Exit which may have an impact on their ability to submit a competitive tender submission in early 2021 and provide the required services from the framework Commencement Date of 3 June 2021. No single submission will define the Procurement Strategy in its entirety but all responses will be used to inform it.. Please send your response to Bryan Dodds (bryan.dodds@gov.scot) and Leigh Syme (Leigh.Syme@gov.scot) no later than 30th September 2020. Scottish Procurement may contact you to follow up on your response.
