North Lanarkshire Council is seeking tenders for the "BEMS (Building Energy Management System) Servicing & Maintenance" contract, primarily aimed at servicing and maintaining their existing suite of BEMS across various properties, including schools, community centres, and office accommodation located in Motherwell, UK. The procurement process is currently at the Award stage, with the contract having been signed on 16 December 2020 for a total value of £1,000,000. This contract includes provisions for servicing 138 existing systems, the introduction of 21 new systems, and upgrades to certain older systems within the contract period. This tender creates significant opportunities for businesses specialising in building energy management and maintenance services. Companies that focus on energy efficiency, HVAC systems, and facility management would be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. With the requirement for ongoing support and potential upgrades to BEMS, suppliers offering comprehensive service packages, including emergency response and scheduled maintenance visits, may find this to be a lucrative avenue for growth.
