The Highland Council - Dynamic Purchasing System - Transport Services
Notice Description
The Highland Council are establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System for Passenger Transport (including public and school transport). The Dynamic Purchasing System includes Lots for Dedicated School Transport, Local Bus Services and Combined Local Bus/School Transport Services, Demand-responsive A2B Dial-A-Bus Services, Additional Support Needs Transport, Transport requirements for Looked-after Children. Subject to agreeing a joint working arrangement with NHS Highland, the DPS may also include aspects of social care transport and patient transport services.
Lot Information
Emergency Contracts: All Vehicle Sizes and All Areas
Emergency contracts for all vehicle sizes and all areas for emergency requirements.. All suppliers who select to be included in Lot 5 of the DPS must agree to expediated timescale of 2 days in order for it to be advertised via PCS-T. If suppliers do not agree these will be advertised via the quick quote facility of PCS.
Vehicles up to 8 passenger seats: North areaTransport below 9 seats for North area of Highlands consisting of Thurso, Wick, Farr, Kinlochbervie, Ullapool, Golspie, Dornoch, Tain, Invergordon, Alness, Dingwall.. If relevant to tender or required for Lot D1 licence MOT Certificates for vehicles PVG Scheme Membership Employers (compulsory) liability & Public Liability insurance for 5,000,000 GBP Taxi or private hire driving licence, PSV O Licence, a minimum of 3 years driving experience or Advance driving qualification. Section 22 or Special restricted PSV operators licence
Vehicles up to 8 passenger seats: East areaEast: Dingwall, Fortrose, Charleston, Inverness High, Inverness Royal Academy, Millburn, Culloden, Nairn, Grantown, Kingussie, Alness, Invergordon, Tain, Glen Urquhart, Kilchuimen.. If relevant to tender or required for Lot D1 licence MOT Certificates for vehicles PVG Scheme Membership Employers (compulsory) liability & Public Liability insurance for 5,000,000 GBP Taxi or private hire driving licence, PSV O Licence, a minimum of 3 years driving experience or Advance driving qualification. Vehicles up to 8 passenger seats: West areaTransportation Service for West Area: Glen Urquhart, Kilchuimen, Gairloch, Plockton, Portree, Mallaig, Lochaber, Ardnamurchan, Kinlochleven.. If relevant to tender or required for Lot D1 licence MOT Certificates for vehicles PVG Scheme Membership Employers (compulsory) liability & Public Liability insurance for 5,000,000 GBP Taxi or private hire driving licence, PSV O Licence, a minimum of 3 years driving experience or Advance driving qualification.
