Provision of electrical services including supply and install smoke detectors, fans, external lighting, rewiring etc. This will be a 3 year contract with an option to extend up to a further 24 months, subject to the continued need of the council.

Lot 1

Provision of electrical services such as the supply and installation of smoke detectors, external lighting, rewiring, and similar types of electrical service. A contract will be awarded to a sole Contractor to support the councils electrical services. The contract will be evaluated using a weightings are 70% price / 30% quality. Details of mandatory requirements e.g. insurance, community benefits etc will be included in the tender. Mandatory accreditation must be evidenced i.e. NEIEC or SELECT. Please refer to the tender document. Community benefits are evaluated to maximise social, economic and environmental benefits aligned to WLCs Corporate plan. Mandatory insurance is 10m GBP E.L, 5M GBP PL, 2M GBP Professional Indemnity and valid motor insurance. Mandatory accreditation such as NEIEC or SELECT is required.

Options: All materials used within this contract must be approved by the council, as specified within the contract documents and specification and for reasons of continuity. Where agreed materials are no longer available i.e. end of their shelf life, a higher specification may be proposed, at the same cost of the materials being replaced. Warranties apply to all products as specified within the tender package. Electrical materials being installed will contain a heat sealed WLC Logo -pantone and logo to be provided .

Renewal: Subject to the continued need of the council and service provided by the successful Contractor the contract may be extended for up to a further 24 months in total
