Scottish Borders Council is seeking expressions of interest from organisations who are able to provide care and support and services to children and young people with additional support needs and/or behavioural support needs. The children and young people may have a direct payment to meet their assessed identified care needs, or the care may be purchased by the Council under a contract. The support services list include the following, please note the list is not exhaustive: 1. care in the young person's own home 2. overnight care in the young person's own home 3. taking the young person for outings in their local community This may be to give respite to the young person or their family or to support the young person while on an outing with their family. The services are to be delivered in accordance with the child/young person's own individual outcomes, with the views of the young person and their parents/carers taken into account. Depending on the volume of responses the next steps will be considered within 6 months.
