Summary of the contracting process

The Kilmartin Museum Company Ltd is currently engaged in the procurement process for the Kilmartin Museum Redevelopment Project, focusing on the main contract works related to the complete redevelopment of the museum facilities located in Kilmartin, Argyll, UK. The total contract value is estimated at £3,000,000. The procurement process is in the active tender stage, with submissions due by 18 September 2020. This project falls under the works category in the recreation, culture, and religion industry, and is being conducted through a selective procurement method, specifically using a restricted procedure.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses with experience in construction, particularly those specialising in heritage projects, refurbishment, and new build developments. Contractors with a minimum average yearly turnover of £5,000,000 and relevant qualifications in building works are encouraged to participate, as the contract requires expertise in managing complex multi-strand projects within a semi-rural context. Successful bidders will have the chance to significantly contribute to the cultural development of the region, showcasing their capabilities in both refurbishment and new construction, and potentially expanding their portfolio in public sector projects.
