The purpose of the work associated with this tender invitation is to restore full generating capacity of the existing hydroelectric power system on the Isle of Rum. More specifically, the work will produce a preliminary design guidance document and a comprehensive refurbishment recommendation to restore full generating output. These documents should provide budgetary costings of the work and outline a project plan for the refurbishment work.
