Lot Information
Lot 1
The volume of demand on the Social Security Chamber (SSC) within SCTS is set to significantly increase as a result of additional benefits and appeals being processed by Social Security Scotland. The existing solutions in place within SCTS are unable to support this demand, which has given rise to an opportunity to develop and deliver a strategic end-to-end digital service to support the SSC, and other Tribunals within SCTS. The aims of this digital service are to maximise operational efficiencies, minimise manual effort and to deliver a modern and accessible service to users, including Appellants and their support, SCTS administrators, and members of the judiciary. The programme is seeking to deliver an integrated, open, scalable and user-centric service that enables automation of key tasks and data flows between partners and service users throughout the appeal case lifecycle. This will enable improved information exchange between SCTS and Social Security Scotland, streamline SCTS case worker processes, and provide an end-to-end digital service for Appellants, their supporters and members of the judiciary. Having undertaken Understand and Incubation phases, the programme is now looking to procure a partner, or consortium, to finalise Incubation Phase and deliver Develop and Deploy phases and support the service in 'BAU / RUN' post service acceptance handover. We will be hosting an online event on 22 October 2020. The day will cover the following areas: - Strategic context and drivers for the programme and the future service - User research and service design - Target architecture - Known constraints, dependencies and risks - Outcome based requirements for the service - Expected procurement and programme timings. The attendance will be limited to two individuals per organisation - details on how to attend will be sent out to our mailing list. To ensure your place at our online bidder day please email: Procurement@scotcourts.gov.uk.
