As part of the Council's preparation for the next generation of Hard FM contract delivery we would like to invite interested parties to join us for a virtual market engagement event where we will provide more information on this project and provide an opportunity for input and feedback also.

To delivery all its Hard FM requirements Aberdeenshire Council is looking to appoint contactors via a variety of procurement routes. For the core contract the Council is seeking to appoint a collaborative partner to provide a Hard Facilities Management service in support of the Council's strategic approach to repairs and maintenance across its portfolio. The types of services required under this contract are: Planned and Reactive Maintenance Services, such as mechanical and electrical maintenance and, building fabric maintenance, Property Service Desk. For Lifecycle component replacement and Minor Works projects the Council is looking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System approach to creating a framework of contractors to tender for these projects individually. The Council's portfolio is divided into four property types: A. i) Non-Operational and Investment Property - Circa 347 Properties which are retained to support the economic development within Aberdeenshire or used for investment purposes to generate a revenue income for The Council, and: ii) Land Assets - Cemeteries, Crematoria, Playground areas and such like open spaces; B. Operational Property - Circa 638 Properties which are used directly to support delivery of services; C. Social Housing - Circa 11,800 units; D. Sheltered Housing - Circa 1200 units providing flatted accommodation, mainly for elderly persons, across circa 60 schemes.
