Lot 1
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there has been a significant change in the council's printing behaviour which will require to be monitored as services return to business as usual, to identify any opportunities to reduce the print fleet across the council. The council issued a direct award to the incumbent supplier by utilising the Scottish Procurement ICT Products Office Equipment Framework (SP-16-013). This contract will be for a period of two years. This will allow time for analysis of print behaviours across the council, to identify whether the current reduction in print activity can be maintained and allow more accurate analysis to be carried out once the effects of the current Covid-19 pandemic have been realised and council services have established a new baseline. During the period of the contract extension, the council would only seek to renew any MFD devices which cannot be replaced by reviewing and re-provisioning the current fleet.
