Notice Description
The provision of Handyman and Facilities Maintenance Services to a portfolio of 28 Healthcare Practices. Before tendering, it is the duty of the tenderer to review the site lists contained within Lot 1 and Lot 2 and perform any necessary site visits where necessary to familiarise themselves with the individual sites, access thereto, and local conditions or restrictions which could affect the execution of any work. Site visits may be arranged by contacting NHS Grampian Facilities and Estates, to arrange a mutually convenient time. i. Lot 1 - Handyman Services ii. Lot 2 - Facilities Management Related Services

Handyman Services
The Handyman Resource will be multi-skilled with appropriate competencies and training records to confirm suitability in undertaking services on behalf of the Client for the Practices. The Provider shall be customer-focused driven and maintain a high level of professionalism as the Provider is representing the Client when carrying out services to the Practices. The following skill sets of operatives shall be available as part of the Service in respect of Lot 1 (additionally further skill sets may be required and requested through a Change Process): - Fabric - Electrical - Plumbing - Joinery - Heating. Renewal: The initial contract is for 2 years with the option to extend the contract for 3 additional years (1+1+1).
Facilities Management Related ServicesIn order to provide a robust offering of additional soft and hard fm services choices to our client portfolio, we are looking for operatives to provide assurance that they are able to supply directly or through a certified third party the following service(s) in addition to any other suitable disciplines/services that may support our client portfolios operational and compliance requirements. The following additional skill sets of operatives shall be available as part of the Service in respect of Lot 2 (additionally further skill sets may be required and requested through a Change Process): -Water Safety -Legionella Control -Automatic Door Servicing and Maintenance -Specialist Electrical Works including PAT & EICR's -Emergency Lighting Checks -Gas Safety -Alarm & Security Maintenance -Soft Services including Gritting and Cleaning of Gutters.
