NHS Highland is soon to be re-tendering the Contract for the Small Isles Charter Service. The purpose of this charter services shall be for the safe and timely transport of health professionals between Armadale and each of the Small Isles (The Isle of Eigg, Isle of Rum, Isle of Muck and Canna) on a regular Wednesday/Thursday service all year round. There shall on occasion be additional ad-hoc requirements out with the scheduled Wednesday/Thursday services for visiting Health Care professionals e.g. Community Nurses, Midwives, Health Visitors, Scottish Ambulance Service First & Emergency Responders. The departure location for ad-hoc services shall be either Armadale or Mallaig going to The Isle of Eigg and Other Small Isles (Isles of Rum, Isle of Muck and Canna). NHS Highland is conducting this market research to identify what service options are potentially available to us. Your feedback will be utilised to inform the commercial strategy and specification of requirements.
