There is an ongoing requirement to procure Temporary Roads Signage as part of the maintenance of the Roads Network within South Lanarkshire Council area.
Lot Information
Lot 1
The Scotland Excel Framework for the Supply and Delivery of Roads Signage Materials 14-18 Lot(s): 2 was identified as a compliant and efficient route to market. The term of the Framework is 1st December 2018 and runs until 30th November 2021 with an optional 12-month extension. The Framework is structured by Product category and has 4 Lots. Lot 1 - Permanent Road Signage & Associated Products Lot 2 - Temporary Road Signage & Associated Products Lot 3 - Roads Sign Posts & Associated Products Lot 4 - Electrical Road Signage & Associated Products The Framework selection criteria allows for both Direct Awards and Mini Competitions. A Direct Award can be applied if members determine that there is a supplier capable of meeting their requirements which was applicable in this case against Lot 2 - Temporary Road Signage & Associated Products. There were 3 suppliers appointed to Lot 2 and PF Cusack were determined to be the highest scoring supplier in terms of their Technical and Commercial Scores. As such this was deemed to be sufficient justification to direct award to this supplier.
