Lot 1
Falkirk Council is aiming to increase levels of active and sustainable travel amongst the general public throughout the Council area. The opportunity is to deliver a comprehensive public engagement programme to increase participation in active and sustainable travel through challenge-based behaviour change interventions. The current proposal is for an active travel programme to run for 3 months from 1st September 2021 to 30th November 2021. There is the possibility that this may be adjusted as mutually agreed between Falkirk Council and the contractor with a shorter programme initially followed by a second programme at a later date but completed and evaluated prior to March 2022. There is the possibility of an extension for a further year. It is intended that the framework agreement will be awarded to a single supplier.. The budget for the initial period is 60,000 GBP. If the submission is in excess of this the bid will be deemed non compliant and will take no further part in the tender process
