Notice Description

West Dunbartonshire Council (hereafter known as 'WDC') are seeking to employ a suitably qualified consultant to build upon our pilot Local Heat &Energy Efficiency Strategy (LHEES) with a broader focus to extend council wide.WDC's initial LHEES pilot looked to identify local solutions to reduce emissions from buildings and tackle fuel poverty across all building types within the town of Clydebank, aligning with the expansion of the Queens Quay District Heating Network (DHN). This work will further expand upon and develop the analysis (including identifying gaps in data), engagement and reporting of our pilot LHEES in preparation for the anticipated mandatory LHEES in 2023.WDC have secured funding from the Scottish Government through the Local Authority resource funding to continue the development of our LHEES for our local authority area.
