Desk study and literature review - Report on vulnerability in MPAs to climate change (warming and ocean acidification) in context of broader climate risks to Interreg VA Area.

At present a requirement exists for the supply of service for completion of the following work task within the COMPASS Interreg VA project. Desk study and literature review - Report on vulnerability in MPAs to climate change (warming and ocean acidification) in context of broader climate risks to Interreg VA Area. Detail: This high-level desk study will examine the vulnerability, with a specific focus on ocean acidification (OA) and warming, of regionally relevant MPA habitats and species in waters of the Interreg VA area (UK and Irish waters to the west and northwest of Ireland and Scotland, and the north Irish Sea). The report will be included as a standalone deliverable in the final COMPASS project report. This successful contractor is expected to work with the MI and COMPASS project team. The work can be undertaken at the MI (where facilities can be made available), wholly remotely or with a hybrid approach. Regular meetings will be scheduled to monitor progress and provide input and feedback. Expected time requirement: Eight to ten weeks
