Provision of a Private Sector House Condition Survey
Notice Description
1.1. Inverclyde Council are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified consultancy team to undertake a Private Sector House condition survey within the Inverclyde Local Authority area. This work will require the consultant to outline the findings from the survey as well outlining areas and options for intervention with reference to private sector housing in Inverclyde.

Lot 1
The appointed contractor will be expected to deliver the following work; a comprehensive house condition analysis of Inverclyde private sector properties (both internal and external survey). The study should assess properties based on the criteria used by the Scottish Household Survey. This survey will examine between a range of 1,500 and 2,400 private sector properties (a sample of between 5% and 8% of Private Sector properties in Inverclyde) and within this sample size, Inverclyde Council require: - Internal and External survey of properties. - A visual survey of all properties from street level. This may include the use of drone technology. - Carry out an internal survey on 100% of properties within the sample. - Survey 20% of private sector residents included within the sample on their attitudes towards maintenance of their property, common disrepair and how this is managed. - Produce an excel spreadsheet analysis/interpretation of the results. - Energy analysis of properties. - Compare results of the new survey with the 2010/11 Inverclyde House Condition Survey findings and comment on any changes or points of interest. - A final report presenting the findings from the surveys and options appraisal for intervention.

In order to be considered, applicants must achieve one of the following: (a) Where the tenderers Dun & Bradstreet risk indicator is 3, the annual contract value should also be less than 50% of the tenderers average turnover over the preceding 2 years (with audited accounts dated within 24 months of the date of the financial check).
