Notice Description
The Council wish to appoint a contractor to supply, install and maintain the upgraded AV equipment as the current AV system is now end of life and a total upgrade of the system is required. A new AV system requires to be installed within the Council Chambers and a more flexible AV solution installed in Committee Room 1 that would allow different layouts to be accommodated.

The Procurement was a call off by mini competition from the CCS DPS as detailed below: Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Audio Visual Technical Consultancy & Commissioning Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) RM 6225 Period - 1 March 2021 - 1 March 2024 The provision of the AV solution required for the Council Chambers and Committee Room 1 is a very specialist area. Consideration was therefore given to the most efficient and effective way to engage with appropriately qualified and skilled suppliers. Following intensive market engagement, the above DPS was identified as providing the most suitable access to appropriately qualified and skilled suppliers and the preferred route to market. All of the suppliers on the DPS that were able to meet the requirements of the contract were invited to bid for the mini competition. The successful Bidder was the one which achieved the highest combined quality / price score based on the award criteria outlined in the tender documents.
