St. James' Playing Fields Modular Changing Pavilions
Notice Description
The purpose of this project is to seek a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to supply and erect 2 separate prefabricated modular buildings for use as changing pavilions on the existing St. James' site. The contractor will also be responsible for full Building Warrant submission including structural design of the entire Modular Building superstructure and substructure, inclusive of foundation slabs and any piling alongside all other necessary design information to obtain a Building Warrant for the entire project.

Lot 1
As part of the Council's Cultural Infrastructure programme, one of the key projects is to deliver sufficiently robust and fit for purpose infrastructure at the St James playing fields in Paisley. The overall project aims and objectives are as follows; Aims are: To provide appropriate infrastructure to support the continued use of the grass pitches at St James playing fields. Objectives are: Provide buildings that are suitable for next 25 years. These facilities are predominantly used at weekends, but the facility will plan for some growth due to the proposed 9v9 usage at the site. This Contract will enhance attractiveness of the facilities The form of contract for the works is the SBCC Design and Build Contract for use in Scotland, DB/Scot 2011 Edition form of contract as supplemented and amended by the Councils "Employer's Amendments".. The Council is utilising a restricted procedure which is being conducted in two stages. Stage 1 - Request to Participate and Stage 2 - Invitation to Tender.
