National Coring Programme 2022
Notice Description
East Dunbartonshire Council in conjunction with the other Roads Authority members of South West Area Roads Authorities Utilities Committee (SW Area RAUC) intend to engage the services of a firm of consultants to undertake the coring, examination and reporting of selected bituminous reinstatements of Statutory Undertakers' (SUs) roadworks. The SUs' reinstatements of roadworks require to be monitored for quality control purposes. Random coring of such reinstatements and reporting on findings most effectively carry this out. An estimated 400 reinstatements will have been selected and are located throughout the local authority geographical areas of Dumfries & Galloway Council, East Ayrshire Council, East Dunbartonshire Council, North Ayrshire Council, North Lanarkshire Council, South Ayrshire Council and South Lanarkshire Council, including trunk roads.
