Notice Description
Scottish Government Rural and Environment Science and Analytical Services Division (RESAS) is commissioning an external evaluation of The Environment, Natural Resource and Agriculture 2022-27 Research Programme Commissioning Process. We will invest nearly GBP50 million a year over five years in scientific research. The Scottish Government consider due diligence over the commissioning process with an investment of this scale to be critical to learnings and identification of improvements The purpose/objectives of the evaluation is to understand: What worked well in "Programme Commissioning Process" What didn't work well in "Programme Commissioning Process" What are the views/opinions from our MRPs and internal customers What improvements can be made on the next commissioning process

The purpose/objectives of the evaluation is to understand: What worked well in "Programme Commissioning Process" What didn't work well in "Programme Commissioning Process" What are the views/opinions from our MRPs and internal customers What improvements can be made on the next commissioning process Included within the scope of the ENRA 2022-27 Programme Commissioning Process evaluation is the three key areas below: Strategic Research Programme Underpinning Capacity Centres of Expertise The Service Provider is encouraged to suggest alternative outputs and approaches to the evaluation based on their expertise. We will provide the Service Provider with the following data that would be important in the evaluation: Policy Research Questions Tender Documents Project Proposals Peer Review Documentation Project Start Up Guidance
