Accident & Operational Damage Repairs
Notice Description
Renfrewshire Council have a requirement for the provision of accident damage repairs to its approximately 600 vehicles consisting of around 450 core Council vehicles and 150 hire vehicles to support the Fleet workshop. The appointed service provider must provide a service for the collection of damaged drivable vehicles from Renfrewshire Council, 52 Underwood Road, Paisley; the repair of the said vehicles; and their delivery back to 52 Underwood Road, Paisley. For accident damaged vehicle deemed non-drivable either due to the nature of the defect and/or conformance with construction and use reg these vehicles would be recovered using the Councils current contractual arrangement to a maximum distance of 1 hours return journey.

Lot 1
Due to the reactive nature of this service provision, a consistent workflow is not guaranteed therefore the estimated annual value of this Contract is undefined. However, spend under this Contract for the full Contract duration shall not exceed 175,000 excluding VAT. An economic operator that suffers or risks suffering, loss or damage attributable to breach of duty under the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 (SSI 2015/446, as amended) may bring proceedings in the Sheriff Court or the Court of Session in accordance with Regulation 88 of the 2015 Regulations.
Renewal: The Contract shall be for an initial 2-year period with the option to extend for up to a further 12 months, subject to satisfactory operation and performance. Any extension will be at the sole discretion of Renfrewshire Council
