River Clyde Homes is entering this contract on behalf of the RCH Group comprising River Clyde Homes and Home Fix Scotland. RCH is seeking to procure the services of a specialist provider to support the Group and Subsidiary Boards' Training and Development. The ambition of the RCH Group Board is to build on its achievements and continue to deliver governance excellence. The parent company is led by a Board of up to 12 non-executive members and our subsidiary Board, Home Fix Scotland, currently consists of 2 executive directors and 4 non-executive directors. In order to achieve governance excellence, the RCH Group is seeking to procure the services of a specialist provider who has experience of working with charitable Boards. Due to the nature of the requirements, the supplier should have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Board governance, best practice in this area and a good understanding of the role of commercial subsidiary Boards. The supplier is required to support Board development for our parent and subsidiary Boards, and submissions are specifically requested from companies with a relevant track record in undertaking similar roles. The successful company must have an in-depth knowledge of the Scottish Housing Regulator's (SHR's) Regulatory Framework and have an understanding of the role of commercial subsidiary company Boards. Direct experience of supporting a commercial Board is desirable.
