Notice Description

The Council have an ongoing requirement for the service and maintenance of the Fire Dampers within the local community. The properties requiring the service range from primary schools, social work establishments, educational establishments. Maintenance of any Fire Damper is essential to keep the equipment in good working order and to reduce the probability of failure. The successful contractor requires to have experience in the maintenance of Fire Dampers and associated equipment. Operatives must have the appropriate certified training on Fire Damper testing. The contract facilitates one service visit to each premise per year to test and report on the Fire Dampers in accordance with BESA document TB/001. In addition to these planned maintenance checks, the successful contractor provides callout and emergency cover within the targeted response times.
