Notice Description

North Lanarkshire Council (the "Council") is required to appoint a single contractor to upgrade and replace Warden Call Systems to 15nr Sheltered Housing Complexes at various locations within North Lanarkshire Council. The Works to each complex will comprise the following: 1.Replacement of existing warden central control equipment. 2.Warden display panel. 3.Warden's telephone handset. 4.Replacement of DECT telephone equipment, including aerials to allow wardens to accept calls throughout the complex. 5.Replacement of existing speech modules, pull cords, motion detection equipment within dwellings (consultant to advise regarding renewal or re use of existing internal wiring). 6.Replacement of existing site wide wireless network to allow installation of additional alarm devices within dwellings. 7.Connection of existing smoke and heat alarms to the warden call system or installation of new domestic heat alarms as required. 8.Replacement of existing interconnecting wiring between individual dwellings either through properties or in existing underground ducting. 9.Any other works identified on a complex by complex basis. 10.The works to include all necessary electrical works as well as builders work and making good associated with each installation
