Notice Description
The purpose of this ITT is to appoint a single supplier to provide an online system to check and validate our drivers' information to ensure that we are meeting our H&S obligations with regard to road risk. It is anticipated that the contract will start in November 2022 for an initial 3 year period with the option to extend for an additional 12 months if required.

As part of Scottish Enterprise (SE) and Highland and Islands Enterprise (HIE) responsibility to staff, and complying with The Health and Safety at Work Act (1974), The Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 and HSE guidelines 'Driving at Work', we require to have procedures in place to assure that all staff who drive for work hold a valid driving licence; that the licence is valid for the type of vehicle being driven on business; that there is appropriate insurance cover in place for colleagues who choose to drive a private vehicle on business; and that the private vehicle is roadworthy and conforms with road traffic law. Furthermore, as part of our approach to Net Zero, we want to improve the reporting of emissions resulting from driving on business. We are seeking a service provider to check and validate our drivers' information to ensure that we are meeting our H&S obligations. The purpose of this ITT is to appoint a single supplier to provide an online system to check and validate our drivers' information to ensure that we are meeting our H&S obligations with regard to road risk. It is anticipated that the contract will start in November 2022 for an initial 3 year period with the option to extend for an additional 12 months if required.
Renewal: The contract will be for an initial period of 36 months with the option to extend for a further 12 months if required.
