This negotiation request was carried out as per Renfrewshire Council Standing Orders Relating to Contracts. Environment & Infrastructure have been working jointly with the Scottish Environment Protection Agency in the development of strategies to eventually allow the Council to surrender its Waste Management License for the site at Linwood Moss. However, a number of technical challenges exist with this site including groundwater, surface water and leachate treatment, all of which require a detailed solution to inform the future strategy for the site.
