Aberdeenshire Council intends to recommission the current provision of Wrap Around Care services (subject to the necessary approvals) in advance of the current contract coming to the end of its term in April 2024. The focus of these clubs is to provide an extensive range of care and support that helps families meet the needs of their children, including maximising the social opportunities and social inclusion, providing a focus on life-skills and social-skills, and providing opportunities for short breaks/respite. The age range is 5-18 years.

Aberdeenshire Council intends to recommission the current provision of Wrap Around Care services (subject to the necessary approvals) in advance of the current contract coming to the end of its term in April 2024. The services comprise out of school term after school club sessions, holiday play schemes and weekend clubs for children and young people with additional support needs. The focus of these clubs is to provide an extensive range of care and support that helps families meet the needs of their children, including maximising the social opportunities and social inclusion, providing a focus on life-skills and social-skills, and providing opportunities for short breaks/respite. The age range is 5-18years. Services are currently delivered in Aberdeenshire Council Community Resource Hubs and Enhanced Provision schools and it is likely that they will continue to be so for the duration of this new commissioned service. The service will be delivered across the whole of Aberdeenshire. It is likely that the service will be split into lots based on geographical areas but the areas have not yet been finalised (hence why II.1.6 is currently "no") If you are a provider who would be interested in delivering such services, then please would you complete the attached questionnaire and return to Sarah Ward at sarah.ward2@aberdeenshire.gov.uk by 13th February 2023. Any procurement exercise will be carried out via Public Contract Scotland-Tender (PCS-T).
