This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise the market of our intention to establish a Framework Agreement for the Repairs & Maintenance across Scottish Borders Council. The main anticipated user of the Framework will be Scottish Borders Council although there are named participants to the framework which are Scottish Borders Housing Association, Scottish Public Pensions Agency, Berwickshire Housing Association (BHA), Borders College & Live Borders. The Property Management Team at Scottish Borders Council are responsible for managing repairs and maintenance to upkeep and upgrade the fabric of all Council assets, currently around 1500. The objective of this framework agreement is to provide a reactive repairs and maintenance service, where SBC will appoint a range of Contractors to undertake work through a Framework Agreement for Repair & Maintenance Services. The Framework Agreement will have multi-value and multi-supplier lots, further detail will be provided within the tender documents and the upcoming contract notice.. This PIN is for information gathering purposes only and is not a call for competition. A response to this PIN shall not constitute any form of contract with Scottish Borders Council or other named parties. PLEASE NOTE - The lot structure will be confirmed in the forthcoming Contact Notice.
