Aberdeenshire Council intends to recommission the current provision of care at home services in advance of the current contract coming to the end of its term in March 2024. The care at home services will provide an extensive range of care, support and respite for parents/carers of children/young people with additional support needs and/or disabilities. The children/young people are supported through the provision of stimulating activities which promote independence, life skills, social skills, and inclusion within the local and wider community. The children may also receive support to meet their personal and heath care needs.

Aberdeenshire Council intends to recommission the current provision of care at home services in advance of the current contract coming to the end of its term in March 2024 The care at home services will provide an extensive range of care, support and respite for parents/carers of children/young people with additional support needs and/or disabilities. The children/young people are supported through the provision of stimulating activities which promote independence, life skills, social skills, and inclusion within the local and wider community. The children may also receive support to meet their personal and heath care needs. Services are currently delivered throughout the whole of Aberdeenshire and will continue to be delivered in this way. Any procurement exercise will be carried out via Public Contract Scotland-Tender (PCS-T). Any advert will be published on Public Contracts Scotland and the tender documents will be accessible from PCS-T. Please note the following: This PIN is intended to provide the market of advance notice of a potential service delivery opportunity and is not currently a call for competition. The intention is to publish this tender opportunity in October 2023. Details in this PIN are subject to being updated or changed in any final contract notice..
