Financial Administration and Management of Scottish Government Heat and Energy Efficiency grant and loan schemes
Notice Description
The Scottish Government is seeking a service provider to undertake the financial administration and management of a number of its open, closed and future heat and energy efficiency loan and grant schemes. The majority of the schemes are demand led and it should be noted that the actual value of the contract may be significantly less than the maximum estimated value outlined in II.1.5 if forecast volumes are not realised.

Lot 1
The Scottish Government is seeking a service provider to undertake the financial administration and management of a number of its heat and energy efficiency loan and grant schemes. It is anticipated that the new contract will commence in December 2023. However, this may be subject to change at the time of issuing the contract notice. The service provider will assume the management and administration of 17 grant and loan schemes. Some schemes are open to new applications and others are closed. The Scottish Government may also introduce new schemes through this contract. The service provider will have to deliver the following across those individual schemes: - Application processing and decision making - Administration of loan and grant payments - Administration of loan repayments - Records management - Liaison with advice partners to maintain an effective and efficient customer journey. At the time of publication of the PIN the contract will be for 36 months with 2 x 12 months optional extensions to be invoked at Scottish Ministers discretion. However, this may be subject to change at the time of issuing the contract notice.
