Procurement Information
The Scotland Excel Flexible Framework supports the Social Care (Self-Directed Support) (Scotland) Act 2013 enabling supported people to exercise some choice and control about the way their support needs are met from available resources. This is in line with the Scottish Government's Guidance on the Procurement of Care and Support Services which complements statutory guidance produced under the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014. This includes guidance specifically on the procurement for wider health or social care services referred to as the "light-touch" regime.
