Notice Title

Council Plan

Notice Description

It is important for us to assess the impact of delivery of the Council Plan over the term of the Council and to demonstrate achievement of the Outcomes in the plan and for this to be the focus of our public reporting. We want to develop proposals for a focused suite of measures for the Council Plan, based on published evidence and aligned to the agreed Council Plan outcomes. This development would be intended to help the Council to track the impact and results of its work over the Council Plan term. This approach will also seek to ensure that wider impacts can be captured including work with partners. For example the Council is currently participating in the design of measurement frameworks for some important partnership strategies such as the Local Outcomes Improvement Plan and the Regional Economic Strategy, as well as continuing to work within established approaches for health and social care. It will be important to ensure these and other pieces of work measuring impact are aligned and consistent. Alongside this it is important to reflect on some of the feedback from the consultation on the Council Plan, which highlighted the need to ensure that the results of the Council's action and delivery are brought to life in case studies, describing the experience and impact on citizens and communities as a result of the Council's support and help. Annual reporting on delivery and proposals will include case studies with clear links to outcomes and delivery. it is estimated there will be 7-10 days work required
