Award of Evaluation of Inclusion Health Action in General Practice

Notice Description

The Scottish Government (SG), on behalf of the Scottish Ministers wishes to commission a rapid evaluation of Inclusion Health Action in General Practice (IHAGP). This programme offers up to 1.3 million GBP over financial years 22/23 and 23/24 to 80 of the most deprived general practices in Glasgow to take practical actions to tackle challenges they are facing in relation to health inequalities within their patient populations under specific IHAGP themes. The aim of the research specified here is to provide the Scottish Government with timely, robust information on how this money is being used, to learn what is working well and less well (to be incorporated into current delivery), and to demonstrate early outcomes. To be able to inform decisions about how IHAGP could be developed beyond 2023/24 and funding decisions for 2024/25, this will be a rapid and early-stage evaluation. This specification sets out what is required, provides background information on the programme and suggestions on method, but bidders are encouraged to propose alternative methods for carrying out this work within the available budget and timescale. Collaborative bids are welcome.
