Following a Scottish Government initiative, NHS Scotland are contracting on behalf of Scottish government for complex Pelvic Mesh Removal surgery out with the National Health Service. To contract a specialist service for women with complications of mesh, inserted for urinary incontinence and vaginal prolapse

Options: The Framework Agreement duration will be 1 year (12 months) with 12 twelve months extensions available. The Common Services Agency shall be entitled (at its sole discretion) to extend the duration of the Framework agreement by one 12 calendar month period.

Procurement Information

Following a Scottish Government initiative,NHS Scotland are contracting on behalf of Scottish Government for complex Pelvic Mesh Removal surgery outwith the National Health Service. To contract a specialist service for women with complications of mesh, inserted for urinary incontinence and vaginal prolapse.Although it is anticipated that the majority of patients requiring surgery will be treated within the Scottish Centre for Complex Mesh Removal Surgery, there will be a small group of patients who will wish to seek an alternative option and this exercise is to identify an independent healthcare provider.The Light Touch Regime was applied in the procurement of the Health Services sought from a potential supply base of 5, two suppliers tendered and both are being awarded having met the requirements of the tender
