PM000220 - Stirling Court Hotel Refurbishment
Notice Description
The hotel is constructed over two floors providing 100 bedrooms (Dornoch Suite comprises two bedrooms) and associated conference and events space. Proposal involves the refurbishment of the bedroom/ bathroom accommodation and associated corridor areas within the Hotel. Proposal is for works to be progressed via a traditionally procured Construction Contract from October 2024 to May 2025. The hotel is to remain in operational throughout the construction period, with works delivered over 3 phases. Ground floor seminar, conference facilities, restaurants and bar are not included within the scope of the refurbishment. Works will comprise the cosmetic refurbishment of all bedrooms and associated bathrooms including renewal of fittings and furnishings, decorations and replacement of baths with showers. Bedroom Corridors will also be refurbished, to include decorations, works to ceilings and refurbishment/ partial replacement of corridor doors. Structural works are not proposed however localised building fabric repairs are included for. Mechanical and Electrical installations within Bedrooms/ Bathrooms and associated Corridor areas will be overhauled or renewed.

The University of Stirling is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified contractor for the refurbishment of the Stirling Court Hotel. Stirling Court Hotel, owned and operated by the University of Stirling, is situated within the University campus grounds. The hotel is constructed over two floors providing 100 bedrooms (Dornoch Suite comprises two bedrooms) and associated conference and events space. Proposal involves the refurbishment of the bedroom/ bathroom accommodation and associated corridor areas within the Hotel.
