Procurement Information
Scottish Borders Council have a statutory duty to provide Home to School transport, including additional needs transport for entitled pupils across the region. As this relates to the travel arrangements for children with additional needs and any immediate changes to transport arrangements could cause undue distress, time will need to be taken to ensure that we can suitably commission transport. The initial procurement failed and the operator was awarded a contract to operate this route on a temporary basis whilst a new procurement is prepared.
