Support in the Right Direction (SIRDs) Grant Fund Manager
Notice Description
The Support in the Right Direction (SiRD) funding programme was launched by the Scottish Government in 2018 with the aim of increasing the delivery of independent support for people who need social care. SIRD organisations provide independent support, advocacy and advice to help supported people, their families and carers make informed decisions and plans for their social care. The contract requirement is for a Grant Fund Manager to manage the SIRD fund on behalf of the Scottish Government through the application stage, core award stage and monitoring stage.

The Support in the Right Direction (SiRD) grant fund manager was procured via the Grant Fund Manager DPS (Project Code 25336) on PCS-T. All suppliers who held a place on the DPS as of January 2024 were invited to submit a bid in the call off procurement.. Contract value stated covers the initial 3 year period. Pricing for year 4 (optional extension year) will be subject to fluctuation (+/-) up to and in line with the annualised Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the year immediately preceding the relevant anniversary of the contract commencement date, applied annually and cumulatively.
