Lot 1

Provision of weather forecasting services including weather radar on behalf of Falkirk, Stirling, and Clackmannanshire Council's. The forecast will be for 4 zones, Stirling Urban, Stirling Rural, Clackmannanshire and Falkirk Council areas. The successful Contractor will be an interactive partner capable of working with the Councils forming a partnership and assisting in the decision-making process for the delivery of winter gritting operations. Service requirements include:- - Downloading and interrogating hourly reports from Council weather stations. - Provide view of the camera images from the sites which have cameras. - Short range forecasts, including site specific graphs will be required from 1st October to 30th April each year. - 2-5 day medium range forecast for each zone will be required from 1st October to 30th April each year. - Stirling and Falkirk require a 5/6 day summer forecast from the 1st May until the 30th September each yea. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015
