This tender presents significant business growth opportunities, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) specialized in educational research, data collection, and analysis. Firms capable of conducting comprehensive surveys and detailed case studies could benefit from such government contracts, which not only provide financial rewards but also enhance the company's portfolio and reputation. The nature of the research necessitates expertise in educational practices, stakeholder engagement, and outcome evaluation. Lot Information

Lot 1

The overall aim of the survey is to provide insight into the experiences and perspectives of a range of school leaders, practitioners, and school staff on the impact of activities supported by the Attainment Scotland Fund. The case study research will gather stakeholder views on what is working well and what could be improved in the implementation of ASF at the local level, what type of interventions are being implemented, and the impact of the funding on closing the poverty related attainment gap. The case studies are intended to include a wide range of stakeholders, including headteachers, practitioners, children and young people, and voluntary sector partners. The findings from the survey and case studies will be used alongside other data collection and analytical activities undertaken for the overall evaluation of the ASF. Collectively, these will help inform policy makers about the implementation of the Fund and findings will be useful as we seek to publish evidence of progress towards closing the poverty related attainment gap.. The Contract may be extended by one period of up to 6 months to a date falling no later than 8 March 2026.

Renewal: The contract may be extended, at the sole discretion of Scottish Ministers by one period of up to 6 months solely for time with no additional costs associated, to a date falling no later than October 2026.
