Kennelling of Stray Dogs
Notice Description
South Lanarkshire Council requires to conduct market engagement to identify suitable contractors to provide dog kennelling services for stray dogs in line with Section 149 of the Environmental Protection Act 1980. The Council requires the provision of Lot 1, Suitable Kennelling for Stray Dogs, as well as Lot 2,Veterinary Services for Stray Dogs to ensure basic health and welfare.
Lot Information
Provision of Kennelling facilities for stray dogs
Provision to the Council of kennelling facilities for stray dogs. Suitable and sufficient kennelling facilities for stray dogs shall be provided by the Contractor at one location. This arrangement relates to provision of at least 3 kennels, for which the Council is the sole user, separated from the other boarded dogs by an adequate barrier.. Tenders may be submitted in the form of lots. Bidders may submit tenders for one, or all of the lots. Where tenders may be submitted for several or all lots:- the maximum number of lots that may be appointed to one bidder is 2 and the following lots or groups of lots may be combined 1 & 2.
Provision of Veterinary services for stray dogsThe Council requires the provision of Veterinary services for stray dogs to ensure basic health and welfare and emergency vet treatment when needed.. Tenders may be submitted in the form of lots. Bidders may submit tenders for one or all of the lots. Where tenders may be submitted for several or all lots:- the maximum number of lots that may be appointed to one bidder is 2 and the following lots or groups of lots may be combined 1 & 2.
