Two Year Contract for Bathroom Replacement Works
Notice Description
The Contract primarily involves the replacement of existing and installation of new bathrooms throughout Castlemilk, Glasgow. The Contract will be undertaken over two phases of work. Subject to successful completion of the two-year programme of surveys and works, the Contract may be extended by a maximum period of three further years through 1 + 1 + 1 twelve-month extensions from the completion date. The bathroom replacement works are anticipated to involve; Year One (2024-2025 investment programme) - approximately 27nr bathroom replacements; and Year Two (2025-2026 investment programme) - approximately 11nr bathroom replacements and installation of new showers to thirty-eight properties.

Lot 1
Single stage tendering and all bidders may submit a tender. Bidders are also advised that Ardenglen Housing Association will hold a Contractors Workshop via Microsoft Teams during the tender period. The Event will be free of charge and shall provide a review of Ardenglen Housing Association's requirements contained within the tender documentation and the information to be provided by Bidder's when submitting their tender response The Contractors Workshop will commence at 10.00am BST on Friday 25th October 2024. To record your interest in the Contractors Workshop please email the names of your organisation's delegates to alan.shanks@ada-cc.co.uk not later than 12noon BST on Thursday 24th October 2024. Bidders are advised that Ardenglen Housing Association are also currently undertaking procurements for kitchen replacement works and boiler replacement works as separate tender opportunities. The Contractors Workshop on Friday 25th October will cover each of the current separate tender opportunities for bathroom replacement works, kitchen replacement works and boiler replacement works during the Workshop.
Options: Ardenglen Housing Association have still to determine their budget's for the three optional 12 month extension periods and additional capacity for planned maintenance expenditure up to 2,240,669GBP is included within this Contract Notice. However, the estimated value for the three optional twelve month extension periods is not guaranteed and no specific value of work for each optional extension periods can be given at this stage
Renewal: May take up option of twelve month extensions up to a maximum of three further years (2026-2029) in twelve month increments. Ardennen Housing Association's budget for the initial two year programme of works is 216,60GBP excluding VAT.
