This procurement procedure is for the appointment of an experienced Contractor to carry out a contract for the Regular Inspection, Servicing, Reactive and Emergency Repairs to Passenger Lifts throughout the Councils estate. This will be a fully comprehensive maintenance contract and the cost for annual maintenance will include the following: Regular statutory compliance and maintenance checks. All necessary repairs and replacement to all portions of lifting equipment. Maintaining a 24/7 call-out service to meet the response times detailed within the Conditions of Contract.

This procurement procedure is for the appointment of an experienced Contractor to carry out a contract for the Regular Inspection, Servicing, Reactive and Emergency Repairs to Passenger Lifts throughout the Councils estate. This will be a fully comprehensive maintenance contract and the cost for annual maintenance will include the following: Regular statutory compliance and maintenance checks. All necessary repairs and replacement to all portions of lifting equipment. Maintaining a 24/7 call-out service to meet the response times detailed within the Conditions of Contract.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts(Scotland)Regulations2015.

Renewal: This contract will be for an initial Contract Period of 3 years with the Council having at its sole discretion, the option to extend the contract for additional periods of 12 months on two occasions only, up to a maximum Contract Period of 5 years.
