The implementation of a citywide mandatory 20 miles per hour speed limit on all appropriate roads. This project will cover the next stages of the implementation process, building upon the initial Roads Assessment phase of work. The goal is to progress the design and pre-installation works of the proposed new 20 miles per hour zones across the city in line with the recommendations made during the Roads Assessment process. This stage focuses on the phased delivery plan for rolling out new 20 miles per hour zones across the city. A key part of this stage will involve developing an inventory of all relevant signage, poles, and markings, which will support a planned approach to implementation. Additionally, there will be a number of associated tasks required to support this stage of the project.
