Lot 1
- Accessibility helpdesk - rapid response first-line specialist technical support to ensure supported users get the help they need when the need it to reduce client down time significantly. - Assistive technology solution maintenance - including updates, patches, configuration and profile changes required to support regular and continuous use. - Assistive technology technical support - addressing accessibility and user workflow issues and providing fixes for accessibility problems and incompatibilities introduced from corporate system updates (including problem investigation, remedial testing, access technology interface upgrades) - Assistive technology-specific training - specialised training or workarounds required to maximise user productivity and improve ease of use associated with access technology solutions in use. - Asset Management Co-ordination - in depth accessibility device management, with coordination of peripherals and fully accessible computer equipment, including swaps and substitutes, reducing employee downtime, and ensuring continuity of enablement. - Assistive technology HR Advocacy - Remediation and advocacy service to resolve disputes between employer and employee regrading accessibility issues and inclusion. - Training and support for line managers - Support, assistance and planning for line managers with guidance on accessibility management in the workplace. Providing disability awareness and counselling on reasonable adjustments. - Employee well-being and accessibility counselling - One-on-one counselling enables employees to overcome barriers to work, providing coping strategies to improve health, well-being, mental health and productivity.
Procurement Information
The circumstances in which the Council may award a contract without competition are set out in the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 (the "Regulations"), Regulation 33. The procuring service has advised that as per the Regulations, this NTP was submitted on the basis of Regulation 33(1)(b)(ii) "competition is absent for technical reasons".
