Notice Description

The Contract will involve the successful Contractor undertaking medical adaptations and associated works within existing residential dwellings over a two year period from the commencement date throughout Ferguslie Park, Paisley, Renfrewshire. Individual Orders will be issued for each adaptation required during the Contract by Ferguslie Park Housing Association. Individual Orders may include full medical adaptation works to an existing bathroom or shower room, singular or multiple component works or trades. The scope of works is envisaged to include; Replacement of existing mainstream bathrooms with wet floor bathrooms or shower rooms; Replacement of existing mainstream bathrooms with level access tray shower rooms; Replacement or installation of extract ventilation fans; Electrical works; Wet wall laminated wall boarding or ceramic tiling; Replacement or new installations of individual or multiple components including sanitaryware, shower trays, wall, floor and ceiling finishes, electrical and lighting works and grabrails; Builderswork including plaster, plasterboard or timber finishing works; Creation of level access facilities to external entrances; and Any other medical adaptation works to existing dwellings required by the customer or their occupational therapist.

Single stage tendering and all bidders may submit a tender. Economic Operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in Regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. SPD Question 2D.1.2- Bidders must provide a separate SPD response (Sections A and B of this Part and Part III) for each subcontractor.

Renewal: May take up option of twelve month extensions up to a maximum of three further years (2027-2030) at an estimated value 40000 GBP (excluding VAT) per annum. The annual anticipated cost per annum excluding VAT is 40000 GBP

A Tenderer will be required to achieve a minimum score of 2 against each Question within Part C, i.e. a score of 2 or greater shall represent a Pass whereas a score of 1 or lower will represent a Fail.
