Summary of the contracting process

The Lochwinnoch Community Development Trust is conducting a tender for an architectural and design team related to the conversion of Lochwinnoch Parish Church into a community centre. This procurement, classified under the 'Recreation, culture and religion' industry category, is located in Renfrewshire, UK. The procurement process is at the tender stage, organised through a selective method under a restricted procedure. Business entities interested in participating must submit their electronic bids by 17:00 on 15 August 2025. The Design Team will need to collaborate closely with the Trust, particularly during the planning stages and listed building consent phases.

This tender presents a valuable opportunity for firms in the architecture and design sector, especially those experienced with historical building conversions and engaging with community-driven projects. The selected team will help develop flexible, community-oriented spaces, offering potential growth for businesses skilled in heritage conservation, sustainable design, and delivering public engagement plans. With the procurement aiming to transition through RIBA stages 0-3, companies adept at securing planning approvals and fostering community ties are well-suited to compete and contribute to this significant community development initiative.
