PROVISION FOR HOLOGRAM PROJECTION UNIT

Notice Description

The Authority is seeking a Contractor to supply a Hologram projection unit, which will be used for live streaming, conferencing and projection of 3D images. The unit will be used to enhance the teaching and learning experience.

Lot 1

The Authority would like to appoint a single Contractor to supply a Proto Luma or 86 inch life size equivalent Hologram projection unit. The unit must include but not be limited to the following features: -Real time holographic communication and display technology; -Deliver true volumetric presence; -The unit can be fixed or portable; -The unit must be able to fit through standard UK doorways; -The unit must be plug and play ready and does not require special lighting or glasses for use; -Must be capable of live-streaming or pre-recorded playback; -Have a built in microphone and camera for two way interaction; -The unit must be able to project interactive Artificial Intelligence (AI) Avatars; -The unit must be compatible with other devices such as phones, tablets and computers for conferencing and user control; -The unit should be LAN and WiFi compatible; -Remote management via secure cloud based software. The Contractor will be responsible for delivery, installation and configuration of the Holographic unit. This will include demonstrating how to setup the unit. The Contractor will provide online training and support for College staff users on the solution. The Contractor will provide user manuals and maintenance guides in electronic format. The Contractor will provide ongoing software updates for the duration of the contract. The Contractor will include a product warranty for the hardware and software. The college will provide its own camera and studio equipment.

Renewal: The Authority reserves the right to extend the Agreement for a further 2x12 months subject to satisfactory performance and continued Authority requirements.
