Notice Description

The aim of this research is to review the interpretation and use of schedules 1 and 3 to determine if they remain fit for purpose.The objectives of this research are to identify if the work types remain relevant or whether new types need to be added to include for example, emerging technologies which are not captured under the existing schedules. To consider the feasibility and practicalities of extending certification as an optional check on work under schedule 3 to strengthen compliance. As well as considering the potential and benefit of introducing a notification scheme for schedule 3 works (certified or otherwise).
