The Council invites consultants with expertise in housing, surveying, and property repair to conduct a strategic assessment of tenemental properties within Dundee. This includes site inspections and desktop reviews, culminating in an initial report covering - City-wide count and classification of tenemental properties by type and location. - Analysis of tenure types, occupancy levels, and tenant turnover. - Overview of Registered Social Landlords' roles. - High-level assessment of building and living space conditions compared to other cities. - Evaluation of existing property factoring and feasibility of mandatory factoring.
